Schmitz & Spiekermann GmbH always stocks several thousand tonnes of steel in various commercial qualities. We offer both round and square dimensions.

In the first instance, our business field extends to overproduction, short lengths, insolvency masses or bars which have surface defects due to production. We have these removed by peeling the bars and thus guarantee the best quality for our customers.

Our product range mainly includes round steels in dimensions from approx. 14 mm to approx. 600 mm. The materials range from simple carbon steels such as S235 to duplex and super-duplex grades such as 1.4462. Furthermore, we offer various billets in dimensions from approx. 40 mm to 120 mm in various carbon grades.

Our warehouse in Essen is located directly adjacent to our offices and has space for 2500 tons of steel. This gives us the opportunity to react quickly to spontaneous enquiries. Furthermore, we have a truck unloading area and a railway siding. Thus we can guarantee our customers enormous flexibility and delivery accuracy.

We also have additional storage capacity at home and abroad, so that we can respond to the most varied requests.
